Quick Mini Update

For the first time in ages I've spent some time doing mini work.  I purchased four new little properties.  One is a little chalet from Four Little Walls .  The service was excellent.  This project is going to be a writer's retreat at the bottom of the garden.

I've already started painting it using Annie Sloan paint.  I read about this paint on the DHE forum and my goodness it's brilliant.  The chalet was a little too orange for me (but I knew that from the photos and I knew what colours I wanted it)

Witchy Cottage Update

I also asked Ted from Dolls House Concepts to do an extension for me for my little Witchy Cottage and I finally started on this - first stage was the brick work and then the plaster. Hopefully later on today I will start the painting.   I bought the original cottage from Ted.

Hubby cut some MDF for me as a base for the Witchy Cottage and this has been primed ready to start work. I will add the extension to the side of the cottage and want to do a small herb garden. Lots to keep me busy over the next few months.

The third and fourth are to follow soon ...................and this is after I promised no more spending due to my job review!!!

  2. Thanks Marlene. Not sure if I'm good enough to make the herbs but might try and there are kits out there but might put a few flowers in too next to the wall

  4. It's amazing how much I did ! the brickwork and plaster are quite basic - I did it on the witchy cottage and decided to do the same for the extension. The chalet is coming along but it'll probably be the weekend before I get more done :)

  5. The chalet has come up lovely with it's coat of paint and I like the brickwork on your witchy cottage.

Tell (Dolls House Concepts) is a star, isn't he? I got The Tenement from him.
