Primed and ready!

Had a quiet weekend (my choice as last week was pretty awful at work) and have started work on Wee Witchy Cottage. It is all primed ready and I have stained the door and windows although they need light sanding and another coat. I have seen some Tudor style hinges on t'internet but am going to wait until the York show. I think the outside will be done in polyfilla for a rough texture (can't think of what else to do on the outside!?) The cottage is easy to work on as the front and the roof comes off :) Hubs has also found a large piece of mdf and I am going to sit the cottage on this and create a garden (all in good time of course)

  1. You're off to a good start and a little garden would set it off very well.

  2. Lovely warm looking timber finish you've done. I like the sound of the rough plaster type exterior, can't wait to see more progress!

  4. Looking good already, you could always put fine sand in your paint for a smaller finish!!
